In 2005, he transitioned into entrepreneurship by co-founding Ziva, a tech startup that created the mobile search engine Zook. Driven by a growing desire for simple, alternative living and impactful work, Shisodia eventually moved away from the mainstream technology sector. He relocated partly to Coorg to experiment first-hand with sustainable farming, organic soil rejuvenation, forest restoration, and farm collectives, eventually co-founding The Farming Collective. He also established Linger Leisure (Linger.in), a hospitality company promoting slow travel, sustainable tourism, and local culture. In 2021, he partnered with Zerodha founders Nithin Kamath and Kailash Nadh to establish the Rainmatter Foundation, taking the helm as CEO to lead its multi-million dollar grant-making, environmental strategy, and ecosystem-building initiatives across India.

Rushabh Mehta is an Indian software engineer, entrepreneur, and open-source advocate who serves as the Founder and CEO of Frappe Technologies and the Co-Founder of the FOSS United Foundation. Raised in Mumbai, Mehta developed an early passion for hobbyist programming during the 1990s. He went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering from Mumbai University in 2001, followed by a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Pennsylvania State University in 2003. Mehta's path into enterprise software began in 2005 when he sought to create a custom internal system to address operational issues within his family's furniture manufacturing business. This framework laid the structural groundwork for what would become ERPNext, one of the world's most widely recognized free and open-source enterprise resource planning solutions. In 2008, he formally established Web Notes Technologies, which later rebranded to Frappe Technologies, to commercialize and maintain the project. To bolster India's indigenous open-source ecosystem, Mehta partnered with Zerodha's Chief Technology Officer, Kailash Nadh, to launch the FOSS United Foundation in 2020. The foundation, which grew out of the earlier ERPNext Foundation, focuses on grant-making, organizing conferences, hosting hackathons, and sustaining local hacker cultures. Additionally, Mehta is highly committed to educational reform and community building, having co-founded the self-directed learning school Learners Collective in 2019.

Poruri Sai Rahul is an Indian software developer and tech policy enthusiast who serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the FOSS United Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting the Free and Open Source Software ecosystem in India. He transitioned into software engineering after completing his integrated bachelor's and master's degrees in physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, where his early programming interest was sparked by building physics simulations. Prior to leading FOSS United, Rahul spent eight years as a Scientific Software Developer at Enthought, a company focused on scientific computing and developer tools. During his tenure there, he worked across multiple global hubs, including Pune, Chennai, Austin, and Cambridge, and actively maintained projects within the Scientific Python stack. He later expanded into technology policy, receiving a scholarship from FOSS United to study at the Takshashila Institution. After extensively volunteering and helping organize major ecosystem conferences, he joined FOSS United full-time as CEO in mid-2024. In addition to this role, he serves as Head of Software at Softcircuits Labs and acts as an advisor to the Saryan Vigyan Foundation.

Sidhartha Vijay Mallya is an American-born, British-raised actor, author, and mental health advocate of Indian descent.
