Abhijeet Pai is an Indian entrepreneur, industrialist, and venture capitalist who serves as the Co-Founder of Gruhas and Partner at True Beacon. Hailing from the industrialist family behind the Hyderabad-headquartered Puzzolana Group—a prominent conglomerate with extensive interests spanning engineering, infrastructure, mining, metallurgy, FMCG, and dairy—Pai initially established his professional foundations within manufacturing and heavy engineering. He holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Hertfordshire and a Post Graduate Diploma focused on International Business, Mergers and Acquisitions from the University of Sydney.

Pai transitioned into the modern startup ecosystem in 2014 as an early-stage angel investor, backing successful consumer and technology platforms such as WedMeGood and DogSpot. Expanding his focus toward structured venture capital, he joined the accelerator platform 100Unicorns (formerly 9Unicorns) as a partner in 2020. In 2021, he teamed up with Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath to launch Gruhas (Gruhas Proptech Private Limited), a specialized venture capital and investment firm targeting disruptive innovations across the property technology (proptech), clean technology, climate tech, and specialized consumer sectors. Deepening his collaboration with the Kamath brothers, Pai formally joined the leadership team of alternative asset manager True Beacon as a Co-Founder in late 2022, leveraging his extensive expertise in private markets, corporate partnerships, and alternative structures to originate private market deals and drive international strategic expansion.
