Gal Gadot is an Israeli actress, producer, and former fashion model who rose to international prominence for her portrayal of Diana Prince in the DC Extended Universe. Born in Petah Tikva and raised in Rosh HaAyin, Gadot won the Miss Israel beauty pageant in 2004 at the age of 18 and represented her country in Miss Universe. Following her pageant success, she served two years of mandatory military service in the Israel Defense Forces as a combat fitness instructor. After studying law and international relations at IDC Herzliya, Gadot made her international feature film debut as Gisele Yashar in the action blockbuster Fast & Furious in 2009, performing many of her own stunts in subsequent installments.
