Ricky Kannakumar Bhui is an accomplished Indian cricketer who plays as a right-handed batsman and occasional leg-break bowler. Born in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, Bhui moved to Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, where he attended the Visakha Valley School and rose through the ranks of the state's cricketing infrastructure. He made an unprecedented impact early in his career by scoring unbeaten centuries on both his List A and Twenty20 debuts, establishing himself as a highly promising talent in domestic cricket. Over the years, Bhui has been a consistent pillar for Andhra in the Ranji Trophy, finishing as their leading run-scorer during the 2018–19 season with an impressive 775 runs across eight matches. His performance earned him selections in prominent domestic tournaments, including the Duleep Trophy where he represented India Blue and India D.
