Suresh Raina is a former Indian international cricketer widely regarded as one of the finest left-handed middle-order batsmen and fielders in modern limited-overs cricket. Born in Muradnagar, Uttar Pradesh, Raina made his international debut in 2005 at the age of 18 against Sri Lanka. Known for his aggressive batting style, sharp reflexes, and athletic fielding, he became a cornerstone of India's white-ball squads. He achieved the historic milestone of becoming the first Indian cricketer to score centuries in all three formats of international cricket (Test, ODI, and T20I). Raina played a vital role in India's major tournament victories, including the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup and the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy. He is also celebrated as one of the greatest players in the Indian Premier League (IPL), earning the nickname 'Mr. IPL' for his consistent performances with the Chennai Super Kings. Across his IPL career, he helped CSK win multiple titles and was the first player to reach 5,000 runs in the tournament's history. He also captained the Gujarat Lions during CSK's brief suspension.
