Ram Charan is one of the most prominent and influential actors in Indian cinema, primarily working in Telugu-language films. Born on March 27, 1985, into a legendary cinematic family, he is the son of megastar Chiranjeevi. Ram Charan made his acting debut in 2007 with the action flick Chirutha, which earned him a Filmfare Special Jury Award. He rose to meteoric national prominence with S.S. Rajamouli's fantasy action film Magadheera in 2009, which broke numerous box office records and established him as a leading star.
