Rajeev Mantri is an Indian venture capitalist, entrepreneur, and prominent public intellectual. He is the founder and managing director of Navam Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on investing in technology, healthcare, and deep science startups in India. Over his career, Mantri has played an active role in fostering India's entrepreneurial ecosystem, advocating for policy reforms that support innovation and private enterprise. Aside from his investment activities, Mantri is a widely read columnist and author. He has contributed opinion pieces on economics, technology policy, and national affairs to leading Indian and international publications, including Livemint, The Times of India, and Business Standard. He is best known as the co-author of A New Idea of India: Individual Rights, Systemic Reforms and the Next Republic, published in 2020, which argues for a modern, culturally rooted classical liberal vision for the country.
