Manoj Pandurang Jamsutkar is an Indian politician and member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly representing the Byculla constituency in South Mumbai. Affiliated with the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) party, Jamsutkar secured a notable victory in the 2024 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elections by defeating sitting MLA Yamini Jadhav of the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena by a margin of over 31,000 votes. Jamsutkar began his political journey as a grassroots worker in central Mumbai and previously served as a municipal corporator in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. Over his political career, he was associated with Shiv Sena, switched to the Indian National Congress in 2012 where he contested the 2014 state assembly elections from Shivadi, and later returned to the Shiv Sena fold aligned with Uddhav Thackeray. Beyond electoral politics, Jamsutkar has been actively involved in labor welfare and union leadership as a secretary of the Mathadi Union.
