The Madhya Pradesh Billiards and Snooker Association (MPBSA) is the official governing organization responsible for the development, regulation, and promotion of cue sports—including snooker, English billiards, and pool—in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. Headquartered at the historic Yeshwant Club in Indore, the association operates as a recognized state affiliate of the Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI). Madhya Pradesh holds a unique and venerable position in cue sports history as the city of Jabalpur is globally acknowledged as the birthplace of snooker, where the game was invented by British Army officers in 1875. MPBSA actively honors this legacy by nurturing state talent and organizing high-profile tournaments. Over the years, the association has successfully hosted numerous iterations of the Indian National Billiards and Snooker Championship, spanning Senior, Junior, and Sub-Junior categories.
