Born on November 23, 2000, in Mumbai, India, he is the son of businessman Nikhil Nanda and author Shweta Bachchan Nanda. He is the grandson of legendary Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, and is also related to the Kapoor film dynasty through his paternal grandmother, Ritu Nanda. After completing his schooling at Sevenoaks School in London, Agastya decided to pursue a career in the entertainment industry, following in the footsteps of his illustrious family.
