Abhishek Lodha is an Indian businessman and the Managing Director and CEO of Macrotech Developers, formerly known as Lodha Developers, which is one of India's largest real estate development conglomerates. Born into a prominent family, he is the son of Mangal Prabhat Lodha, the founder of the Lodha Group and a veteran politician. Abhishek pursued his higher education in the United States, earning both a bachelor's and a master's degree in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Following his graduation, he worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company in Atlanta, gaining valuable international business insights. In 2003, Abhishek returned to India to join the family real estate business. Under his stewardship, the Lodha Group transitioned from a regional builder into a national powerhouse, developing landmark high-end residential and commercial projects including World One and the Trump Tower in Mumbai, alongside the expansive Palava Smart City. He was instrumental in orchestrating the company's successful initial public offering in April 2021 under the name Macrotech Developers. Known for his strategic vision, Abhishek has focused on deleveraging the company's balance sheet, expanding into green energy and warehousing, and driving sustainable construction practices. He continues to lead the organization toward sustainable growth while managing philanthropic initiatives focused on education and healthcare.
